Climbing Volunteering

Our brilliant bank of Climbing volunteers support the running of our climbing sessions at The Prop Store in Maryhill. This is a practical role that focuses on supporting our participants.
You don’t have to be an expert climber to volunteer with us. You just need an interest in supporting people and enjoy helping people climb. You can find out more information in the role description.
As this is a bank role we can be flexible around availability. However, sessions will be during the day normally on a Monday or Thursday. For more information about what the role involves please see the role description below.

Carnival Club volunteering

Our Carnival Club volunteers help out at our weekly visual arts project. The group work together with a professional artist to design and produce pieces of visual art that are showcased at various events across Glasgow.
The role of our volunteers is to support the artist at Carnival Club sessions and to interact with participants and assist them to take part in the art activities.

Community music volunteering

Our Community music volunteers support and assist our professional musicians to deliver music workshops for our participants in the community.
Volunteers help by participating in, and helping to lead where appropriate, group music activities such as rhythm, singing, playing and listening activities. They also assist participants to take part.

Care Homes & Wards Music volunteering

Our Care Homes and Wards music volunteers support and assist our professional musicians to deliver music sessions in mental health hospital wards and care homes in Glasgow.
Volunteers help by participating in, and helping to lead where appropriate, group music activities such as rhythm, singing, playing and listening activities.
